The Circuit Court.
The Hickman vs Hickman divorce case was tried Monday. The plaintiff, Martha A. Hickman, lives in Wheatfield. She married Frank Hickman, a morally and physically rotten rascal, in Jan. 1899. She left him a few months later, and returned to him again in Jan. of this year, on the trength of good promises but only stayed a few daos. She is a prepossessing young woman, who earns an honest living by housework and is evidently an estimable young woman. The court granted her a divqrce on payment of the suit. The husband, who was in Logansport when last heard from, did not make any appearance in court. Court adjourned Monday evening until Wednesday, May 2nd.
