A Recommendation From a High Authority.
Miss_ Anna Ethelynd Read, a teacher of vocal music of Chicago, who is here to organize a class in vocal music and a childrens chorus, has among other eminent teachers been under the instruction of Mrs. Johanna Hoss-Burr, the celebrated accompanist and instructor in vocal music, of Chicago and Milwauka. She writes to Miss Read, as follows: April 19th, 1900. My Dear Miss Read: — With much pleasure I send you a few words of encouragement regarding your work as teacher. lam sure those falling into your hands musically can consider themselves fortunate in having your help as a teacher for you are certainly the most able woman in that line of work 1 1 have known.
