File Your Exemption Claims.

Persons who are entitled to have their assessments reduced, under the mortgage exemption law must file their applications for deductions before May Ist. As many persons failed to file their applications last year,“on account of the inconvenience of getting to the county seat, the township and county assessors and county auditor, have arranged matters so that people could make their applications before notaries, at the following places: Parr, Kniman, Wheatfield, DeMotte, Dunnville, Fair Oaks, and Remington. Blank applications will be kept by the notaries at these places, and the applicants fill out and swerr to the applications, before the notaries, and mail them to the county auditor, at Rensselaer.
