A Lamentable Accident.

The news has just been received here of a lamentable accident whereby a former resident of our town has been crippled and more or less incapacitated for life. The victim was Frank G. Henkle, who for about a year past has been at Lewiston, Pa. Last Friday, while engaged in his occupation in a steel mill, three miles from Lewiston, he placed his left hand on a track on which ran the wheels of a traveling crane, and the wheels passed over his hand crushing it so that its amputation at the wrist was necessary. Of course this accidentwilliLcapacitate Mr. Henkle from supporting his family by maneral labor, and is therefore a great calamity to him and them.
