The Cinderella Cantata.
«4 That always and forever entrancing fairy story, “Cinderella or the Glass Slipper,” done into cantata form, was very attractively and successfully presented at the opera house, Friday -evening under the of the Ladies Catholic order of Foresters. A large number of well trained children performed the different parts of the play. The performance was varied and made more attractive* especially to the older people, by many between the acts features, such as music, recitations, dancing etc., and especially the pranks and oddities of a dozen little tots, blacked up for pickaninnies. The attendance was very large, and the receipts for admissions alone being S9O.
