Gifford’s Road Going to McCOYS-burg.

Col. B. J. Gifford, who was in town Tuesday and Wednesday, on business-connected with his railroad, the Chicago t Wabash Valley, R, R. announced on leaving that the line would be Extended southward this summer to at least as far as the Monon line, at McCoysburg. Or, as he expressed it, it would be completed to Mc(Toysburg before the next president was elected. He has had trouble in getting the right of way through August Geopp’s land in Barkley tp. and a suit for con detnning-itWas pending in the circuit court, but the needed right of way was granted. * •_
