The Congressional Con ven-tion.

The Republican county chairmen of the Tenth Indiana district, ment at Chicago, Friday, on call of District Chairman McCoy, a time and place for holding the congressional nominating convention. All the counties in the district were represented. Chairman McCoy, of Rensselaer, was present and Resided. This county was represented by Chas. E. Mills, as a proxy for County Chairman, C. W. Hanley. It was fcleoided to hold the congressional nominating convention ht,.Lafayette, on February 22nd. The time and manner of electing delegates to this convention will be left to the various county committees.

The district convention to elect delegates to the national convention will be held also at Lafayette and on March 22nd, or just a month latter than the nominating convention. —^
