Wasn’t In It For a Minute.

The Delphi Bowling Team, which played a match contest with the Rensselaer team, at the City Bowling Alleys last night, were a fine and festive lot’of gentlemen, but when it came to knocking ten pins galley west, they were not in it at all with our bowlers. It was a nice civil and interesting game, however, and well worth seeing. There was a good attendance, considering the severe cold, which operated to keep many away, especially most of the ladies. In all there were a little more than 100 paid admissions. Three games were played and our players were far in the lead in every game; 172 pins in both the Ist. and 2nd. games, and 68 in the third. The total lead was 402 pins. The Delphi players were well pleased with their treatment here, and'not at all sore over their defeat, as they soon saw they were entirely outclassed fay thpir Rensselaer opponents, The following is the score.
