Only Chicken-Pox.
The small-pox scare at Monon has evaporated. Dr. Brayton, the Indianapolis small-pox epxert, was up there Thursday and investigated the alleged cases, and found them to be nothing but chioken pox. There were quite a large number of cases, Dr. Brayton remained uutil Friday, to make a through investigation. He says the cases were chickenpox because they occurred only in young children; because the covered part of the body were affected first; because of the nature of the eruption which.was mainly watery vesicles, with occasional pustules; because new crops come one after tho other; and because the unocculated mothers did not take the disease from their children, and finally because the children in these families who have had chicken-pox do not get it now.
