The City Convention.

The Republicans of Rensselaer met Friday evening, at the court house, to organize their committees ,for the approaching campaign. The following ward committees were chosen. First Ward, Harvey Kannal, Walter White, John Jones. Second Ward, J. F. Irwin, C. C. Warner, H. B. Murray. Third Ward, Peter Wasson, S. E. Yeoman, Elmerald Aldrich. C, C. Warner was elected city chairman and H. J. Kannal city secretary. The city candidates, namely mayor, clerk, treasurer and marshal will be nominated at a mass convention on March 15th. The candidates for councilmen will be nominated at ward mass convention on March 22nd.
