The Reynold’s Bank Robbers Caught.

Four men were arrested at Chicago last week who are thought to be implicated in the Reynolds bank robbery. If the Pinkertons’ theory about them is correct they are old timers and will be called to answer for about a dozen bank robberies. The Chicago Record gives the following aooount of the arrest: Pinkerton’s National Dectective agency claims the credit for the arrest of the four men taken into custody in South Water street Christmas day. The Pinkertons’ work has been at the instigation of the Fidelity and Casualty company of Maryland, whioh was liable on bond for the money stolen from the Cornell (III.) bank Dec. 5. The prisoners— Henry Steinmeyer, ‘Jim’ Henry, alias ‘'Old Morgan,” John Murray and Edward Lally—had theijf; preliminary bearing before Justice Martin at the Harrison street station yesterday, and were held to the criminal court in bunds of $1,500 each. Among the robberies credited to the gang are the following: Shipman, 111., Feb. 24, 189 b; Franklin, 111., March 19, 1898; Ellaworth, 111., April 28, 1899; Zeeland, Mich., Oct. 10, 1898; Arthur, 111., Jan. 20, 1899; Clio, Mich., March 10, 1899; Kings, 111., Nov. 24, 1897; Reynolds, Ind.. Oct. 11, 1899; Brooklyn, Mich., Nov. 21, 1899, and Byron, Mich., Nov. 2, 1899.
