Joe Hordeman is Wounded.

Segeant Joe Hordeman, one of Jasper county’s several representatives now in the Philippines, was wounded in battle on Dec. 27th. The intelligence of the fact came in todays morning papers, in the list of casualties telegraphed to Washington by wen. Otis. The item {regarding Sergeant Hordeman is as follows: WOUNDED. Hordeman. Joseph L., sergeant Company D, Eleventh Cavalry: foot, slight, in action at Moutalbau, De. 27. Mr. Hordeman is practically a Rensselaer boy having been raised on the Peter Hordeman farm, a mile west of tomn, where his parents still live. We are glad to note that his wound is considered only a slight one.
