The city council held their regular s? mi-monthly meeting Friday eveni ag. But little business of genera interest was transacted. The fit at estimates of Plum street sfifvver were passed upon. Some sJven or eight property owners thought their assessments were toe# high, in proportion to benefits / received, and the council made a] total change, in their favor of/ $18.50, which was taken from tie assessments of the objecting larties and were distributed among Ethers not objecting. the fcarbage box problem was up aga®, and it was decided to consultltbe property owners.
