Busted His Mud Gun.

A Mr. McGuerrin, of Chicago, was here a few days ago hunting in the vicinity. He is a brother of MoGurren, the football player who was hart here on Thanksgiving Day. He says that the hasty and ill-advised dispatoh to the Chicago papers that his brother was fatally hart, reached his mother before her son himself got home, and almost drove her crazy. This other Mr. McGuemn had a little experience of his own while here, whioh might have been dangerous. He stumbled as he was walking along carrying his gurr and the muzzle stuck in the soft ground, and got stuffed with mud. McGuerrin fired it off in that condition. As a mud gun, it was not a sucess, for several inches of it, near the muzzle blew off, entirely.
