Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 21, Number 27, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 26 December 1899 — Chairman McCoy Will Be Re-elected. [ARTICLE]
Chairman McCoy Will Be Re-elected.
T. J. McCoy, of Rensselaer, is spoken of as most likely to be his own successor as chairman of the Tenth district Republican committee. He has made a very efficient chairman, and his experience in the last campaign has made him so familiar with the district and hia duties that he is peculiarly fitted to take up the work this year.—Monticello Herald. Mr. McCoy has oertainly rendered good service as chairman, and, as The Call has previously remarked, he will probably hold over, so to speak, without a kick coming.—Lafayette Call.
