Gracie, the little daughter of T. Hurley, is very sick with lung fever. Newman Snow is on the sick list. L. S. Renicker, of Rensselaer was seen on our streets last Sunday. Rev. Appleton is holding a series' of meetings at the Good Hope church. Henry Steel is home from Mt. Ayr where he has been husking corn for his uncle. Work was begun on the gravel road running east of Aix, but is postponed on a'ccount of the bad weather. Chris. Morganegg’s wife is on the sick list. George Cooper’s wife is improving very slowly after her spell of sickness. Levi Renicker and F. S. Renicker, Jr., went to Carroll Co. this week for a few days. Roy, little son of John Renicker is very sick. Henry Snow’s baby is sick.
