Fish Law Upheld.
The supreme court overruled a petition for rehearing in the case of Louis Gustavel against the State of Indiana. This is the case in which the constitutionality of the β'fish law,β passed by the last legislature, was upheld. Gustavel was convicted and fined for catching with a hook and line in the Tippecanoe river at' Monticello βone black bass more than nine inches in length.β The court held that it is unlawful to take fish of any size by any means between the months of May and June.
