The Female Aeronant’s Bad Condition
About the lady, whose ballooring name is Eva Leroy, but who is the wife of Wm. Gore the balloonist who made an ascension here last month the Lafayette Journal says: Miss Eva Leroy was brought to the city yesterday at noon and was taken to the St. Elizabeth hospital. She was an aeronaut and injured the first week in October in making a parachute leap in Cass county. Her left leg was broken below the knee and she was injured internally. She was taken to her home in Francesville for treatment. Tbe injury to her limb healed, but the internal injuries affected her spine and her condition is now regarded as quite serious. She was brought to St. Elizabeth hospital to receive treatment for this trouble. The police ambulance was in waiting at tbe depot to convey her to the hospital
