A Fair Oaks Divorce Case.

Mrs. Fannie Smyser, of Fair Oaks, is the plaintiff in a new divorce case just filed for the February term of the Jasper circuit court. She was married to the defendant,.Hany L. Smyser, Feb. 24, 1897. They lived together only until Oct. 16 of the same year, when he abandoned her, and never came back. He was living in Chicago when last heard from. He has never made any provision for her support since leaving her, and has written only two letters, both early in 1898. She asks for a divorce and the restoration bf her maiden name, Fannie Sexton. She was only 15 years old when she was married.
