Aluminum.
Aluminum, which had no commercial existence a few years ago, was produced in the United States in 1898 to the extent of 5,200,000 pounds, valued at $1,716,000, or 33 cents a pound, which is one-tenth of the cost ten years ago. The ad. of T. M. Roberts' Supply House in another part of this paper should be of interest to everyone desiring bargains in household goods. Get their complete catalogue of everything you need before making purchases. It is a poor wit who lives by borrowing the words, decisions, mien, inventions and actions of others.—Lavater.
