Matheson-Reed.
Mr. George W. Reed a merchant of Havana, 111., and Miss Mabel A. Matheson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Matheson, were married Tuesday evening, Deo. 12th 1899, at the home of the bride’s parents just northwest of town, in the presence of a company of neighbors and invited guests. The ceremony was pronounced at 8 o’clock, by Rev. C. D. Jefferies to the music of Mendelssohn’s wedding march, performed by Misses Nellie and Mary belle Purcupile. After the ceremony an elegant and very elaborate wedding supper» was served Guests from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. Fuller, of Easton, Hl., Mrs. H. Brant, of Chicago, and Mr. Fletcher' Monnett, of Evanston, HL The newly married couple took the train for Chicago next morning, and from there will go to Havana place of residence.
