THE PATHOLOGICAL MOMENT HAS NOT YET ARRIVED.
Dr. Protection—ln my judgment there is no present need of such drugs and nostrums in this case. The pathological moment has not yet arrived. • When it arrives I shall be ready to prescribe. Quoting from the remarks of Dr. Samuel Adams Robinson at the Chicago Trust Conference, I would say: “The stage of fits has not yet been reached, though some of the quacks would have us think otherwise. Their antidote is an old and a well-known one. It was tried in 1892, and we all know how it worked. Do we want any more of it? I think not.”
