Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 21, Number 22, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 8 December 1899 — Retires from the Bank. [ARTICLE]

Retires from the Bank.

Jay W. Williams, who has been a partner in the Farmers’ Bank, with his father-in-law, John Makeover for the last sixteen years has now retired from the same. He finds that his health is suffering from so much close confinement, and has retired from the banking part ot his business. He still retains his furniture store, in the Stockton-Williams block, and also has extensive landed interests, both of which will claim as much of his time and attention as he thinks it prudent to devote to business. Mr. Makeover will manage the bank, alone.
