A Suicide Near Remington.

A 19 year old daughter of George Stiiz, living a few miles southwest of Remington, but in Benton county, committed suicide last Friday, by taking carbolic acid. No cause, farther than rumors of harsh treatment by her father, has been given for the suicide. Mr. Stitz used to be located in Remington, in the butcher business. His shop and several adjoining places burned one night, and Stitz was suspected of setting the fire for the insurance. He was tried here and sent up for two years but got a new trial, after serving about a year, and was acquitted.
