An Able Bodied Muskrat Story.
Farmers in the northeast part of Howard cqunty, residing along the Jackson township ditch, are suffering from an invasion of muskrats. The rodents came upthadltch during the recent rains and thousands of them are boring into farms, invading cellars, wells and cisterns. On the Daniel Bryant farm they tunneled into a cellar and carried off ”100 bushels of apples and potatoes before their presence was known. Farmers all along the ditch report their premises looted in the same manner.—lndianapolis Journal.
