The City Council.

In settlement of the claim of of Mrs. Rosa Seib to the south 500 feet or so of Scott street, the Council appropriated $100; and the property owners are to pay another SIOO. , The purchase of some more ladders for the fire department, as previouly asked for, was authorized, the fire chief and committee on fire department to select such additional ladders as are needed. The fire chief reported the resignation of I. B. Marion from the fire company. The committee on garbage boxes reported that they had not yet got on the track of any such boxes as they consider desirable. A rebate of $3.75 was allowed to Mrs. Anna Harrison on erronious sewer*assessment.
