The Early Bird Catches the Dickens.
Winamae DetooCtat, There was a dickens of a rumpus late Monday night, or about 1 o’clock Tuesday morning, among some of the Uncle Tom company. It was over a “small’’ matter, too; one of the company, retiring late, found another male member, who had retired earlier, in his wife’s room—that was all. There was a 'commotion, but the trespasser managed to escape. It is said that the man who played “Lagfee,” or the woman who was “Eliza,” or the man who did “George Harris,” |py or all, of them, might give details if they desired.
