One day not long ago an old woman arrived at Chesterton, inquiring for Henry Schmidt. After finding him and bis brothers “Chris” and “Ed,” She informed them she had been on a bunt for them for the last two years. She lives in Detroit, and is wealthy. The boys are heirs, she declares, to an estate in Mecklenburg, Germany, and their share is $2,000,000 each.
