Trustee Comer visited oar schools Monday. Joe Kight, of Chicago, wss in town Sunday and Monday. Another dance was held at Kessler’s Hall last Saturday night. Quite a bit of sickness is reported about town. A. D. Washburn shipped a fine three car loads of fine cattle to Chicago Tuesday night, Grandma Wiseman is reported qnite sick with malarial fever. Mrs. Joseph Kight, of Rensselaer, spent the latter part of last week visiting relatives and friends here. Bro. Brady preached a sermon at the Christian churoh last Sunday; assisted by Rev. Watkins, of Rensselaer. The Ladies Aid Societies of both churches and Endeavor Society of the Christian church will give an oyster and general sapper on Satarday evening, Nov. 18, at Kesskr’r Hall. Prooeeds to buy song books which are badly needed. Everybody come and encourage the ladies. Mrs. P. W. Nelson visited relatives in Chicago several days this week.
