Minnie Ahlers is on the sick list. George Beedy visited friends near Comer Saturday. Miss Lucy Levereau, of Mommence, 111., is visiting her parents near Comer this week. Aaron Seitz has rented a farm near Wheatfield and will move there in the near future. Walter Jones, of Kankakee, 111., and T. M. Callahan attended “Faust” in Rensselaer Friday. Will Whited transacted business in Rensselaer Friday. H. G. Cook who has been working in North Dakota returned home last week. We wonder why Frank Lewis ordered such a fine suit of clothes. We bet two cents the new house will soon be occupied. The residence of G. R. Robinson on the ranch burned to the ground Monday morning about 5 o’clock scarcely anything was saved. All their clothing was burned except that what they had on. The cause of the fire is unknown. Twenty-five persons from Comer attended the Passion Play at Rensselaer Sunday qight.
