Mr and Mrs. Hanley spent last Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Ella Sayers of DeMotte. Dame rumor say that a dashing young widower will lead one of our fair young ladies to the alter soon. Thats right, Bill! Rev. Skinner preached a very interesting sermon Saturday evening to a large audience. After services they all repaired to the home of Wm. Archer where a pound social was had for the benefit of the minister. Miss Nettie Comer Sundayed with her parents at Gillam. Mr. and Mrs. Wells, of Lake Villiage spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Andrews. Mrs. Ralph Brown and children, of Gifford, .visited last week with her parents at this place. Again the Death Angel have called two of our aged residents Mr. Wm. Meyers and Mrs. Wm. Goff. "Isiaah Fisher and wife were the guests of Wm. D. Meyers Snnday last. Mrs. Gusta Schotz left for South Chicago her future home, Sunday. Miss Tillie Hazlebring is visiting hersisier, Mrs. Hannah Barrence in Illinois. Epworth League was a great success Sunday evening. There will be a dance in the town hall Saturday evening. Everybody invited. Albert Strible of Gifford’s dredge, spent Sunday with Miss Clara Ponton.
