Quite a large number of people attended Mr. Brown’s sale at Shelby last Tuesday. They reported stock selling very reasonable. Last winter one day, Geo. Wilcox vent hunting and lost his pocket book containing about sls in money and some valuable papers. It was found by Mr, Koffman the other day. The pocket book had almost decayed but the numbers of all the trills are ascertainable and duplicates can be gotten for them. It was a remarkable find after almost a year bad elapsed. Robert A, Hopkins attended the lecture of Wednesday night at Rensselaer and reports it the best that ever came to that city. Mrs. Johnson of Indianapolis is visiting at Mr. Lang’s for a few days.
