Defective Hearing on Railroads.
I Attention is called in medteal Journals to the desirability of testing railway employes for defective hearing as well as for color-Windness. A recent examination in Europe developed the , fact that out of eighty-two firemen and engine-drivers only three possessed perfectly normal hearing. It is suggested that there should be a standard of hearing power for the examination of employes who have to depend upon sound signals.
