Ah, There, Bernie!

Bernard Malov, a former foreman in The Republican’s printing department, and now a medical student in one of Chicago’s leadmedical colleges, and than whom few handsomer, blighter, courtlier or more athletic young man ever went out from Rensselaer, was married Monday, in Chicago, to Miss Etta Maloney. His bride is quite well known here, from visits to her relative, Mrs. Drake, just south of town. She too is very tall, handsome and accomplished. Verily, mutual congratulations are in order in this marriage, for one more fitting and more promising of future happiness does not often occur. The wedding took place at noon Monday, Oct. 16, at St. Anne church, Chicago and was very private, and even Mr. Maloy’s parents had no intimation that it was even contemplated until a telegram was received announcing that it had occurred.
