All Good Crops, Except the Pops.
Dr. F. B. Johnson, a former Rensselaer boy, now of Wilsonville, Neb., writing to renew his subscription to The Republican, says. “The wheat crop was not very good this year, corn is a fair crop. Populists total failure. With another term of McKinleyism there will not be enough pops left to make a quorum. We live in the Boom Valley where Alfalfa thrives best we get 3 to 4 crops a year. Last year there were over 400 oars of fatted stock shipped from our town.
