They Saw All The Notables.
Our townsmen, Messrs G. E. Murray, B. F. Fendig and C. C, Warner saw the great Dewey celebration atNew York very thoroughly arid undeT very favorable conditions. - They sere in New Yoris six days and saw all the public demonstrations connected with the event and also “did” the city and its surroundings quite thoroughly. When the great land parade took place they were favorably situated to see* all the procession. Of Admiral Dewey they had a fine view, and saw 1 in him a man of very impressive appeanoe and easily recognizable from his pictures. They also had good view of Rear Admirals S mpson and Schley; of Teddy Roosevelt, the coming man; of Chauncey Depew, Gen. Miles and many other world famous notables. They met several former townsmen now of New York, Max Brill, Val Seib and Frank Puroupile. They spent a day or two in Philadelphia and also put in two days in sight seeing at the national oapital.
