Obituary.

.Mrs. Mary Pass died Wednesday Sept. 6th. 1899 at the home of her son, William Pass, at Edenburg, Ind. Her funeral was held Sunday Sept. 10th. at Independance ohuroh in Gillam tp., Rev. John Sebring conducting the religious services. Her age was 73 years, and she had been 27 a widow. She was bom in Franklin county, Penn., and removed to Bartholomeu county, Ind., in 1844 She became a resident of Jasper county in 1863 and continued until about five years ago when she went to live with her son at Edinburg. She leaves 5 children, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, and Samuel Pass of Gillam tp., Wm Pass of Edinburg, Ind., Frank Pass, of Easton 111., and Martin L. Pass, now a student in the Valparaiso school of pharmacy.
