Thursday’s Valpo Messenger: Trustee Lyon, of Kouts, who was in the city today informed us that a faym hand by the nanje of Zane, who is working for exCounty Commissioner Lee G. Howell, fell in front of moving machine yesterday and before the machine could be stopped he was cut about the body in a dozen places, and his injuries may prove fatal. Zane is a resident of Jasper county. /
