Mr. Diltz has returned from lowa. Miss Carrie McKay spent Mondayr in Rose Lawn. Tom Mallet did business in Rensselaer Saturday. | Ben Keller has moved his back from Wisconsin. Joe Kight did business in DeMotte and Wheatfield Friday. Chas. Coen, of Rensselaer was in tiwn Friday on business. Mrs. C. A. Gundy is spending the week with her parents at Kniman. Mrs. Ella Nutt of Lochiel, spent last week with her aunt, Mrs Peter H. Zea. Quite a number from here took a days outing at the Kankakee last Sunday. Mrs. Abigail Johnson has about recovered from her recent attack of heart trouble. A head thunder storm visited this section last Sunday night but - no damage reported.

Mrs. Geo. Graves and children of Chicago Heights are visiting her parents, William Cox and wife. J. P. Shurpe and family have moved here from Myr and will make Fair Oaks their future home. Quite a number from here will attend the Odd Fellows reunion at Water Valley next Saturday. Mrs. Dr. Proudly received a telegram Tuesday evening announcing the death of a brother re Mill Hall. Rev. O’May will preach his farewell sermon at the M. E. Church Sunday afternoon, Sept. 23.
