Two chance acquaintances on a railway train discovered that they had come originally from the same neighborhood, and fell to conversing about old times. “By tjie way,” said the passenger in the skull-cap, “whatever became of Harrison McPelt?” “He’s a special writer for one of the New York papers,” replied the passenger in the long linen duster, “at ten dollars a column.
