WEDNESDAY. Mrs. John Eger is visiting at Terre Haute and Rosedale. Mrs. A. McCoy is 4n Chicago on a few days visit. Mrs. J. W. Paxton has returned from several weeks stay in Chicago Miss Edna Noland, of Indianapolis is the guest of Miss Glenn Porter. Harry Kurrie is home from a two weeks visit with his parents at Paoli, Ind. Frank Kressler, Jim Parker and Charley Randle are makiug a visit to Niagara Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foltz and mother Mrs. Mary Foltz have gone to Niagara Falls. Miss Mary Weathers returned yesterday from a two weeks visit at Michigan city. Elza Grow and Omar Kenton left last night on a trip to Niagara Falls and New York city. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Victor Moore, north of Pleasent Ridge yesterday evening, a daughter. Mrs. Ed Randle and brother Ord Yeoman left this morning for a three weeks visit with (relatives at Kingman, Kans., and New Kirk, Oklahoma.
A number of Miss Maud Healey’s girl friends spent a very enjoyable evening at her home last night. Mrs. Healey and Maud are preparing to go to Brookston to make their home for the present. M iss Sadie Leopold gave a delightful dancing party in honor of her guest Miss Harriet Haas, of Tipton, Ind , yesterday evening at her home ou Front stieet. Fully fifty young people were present and spent a very enjoyable evening Out of town guests were Misses Wickwire, of Goodland, Kelly, of Springfield, Ohio, Noland, of Ihdianapolis and Lou Leopold arid Dr. Bishop, of Wolcott.
THURSDAY. Mrs. James Dqjmelly is visiting relatives at Chicago. Miss Adaline Chilcote is visiting relatives at Monticello. Miss Elanor Hillman, of Evanston, is the guest of Mrs. Dr. Brown. Girl, born this morning to Mr and Mrs. Vick Yeoman seven miles north of town. Dr. B. Berkley’s mother, of Newman, 111., is here making him a few days visit. Cecil and Valerie Banes and Estie Waseon are visiting relatives near MoCoysburg. Mrs. Martha Donnelly returned home last night from a months visit at Dexter, Mich. County Clerk Coover and son Clyde are attending Founiain Park Assembly at Remington today. Miss Huffty after a few days visit with Miss Myrtle Chipman, returned home to Wplcott today. Miss Hala Robinson and Catherine and Marguerite MoEnery, of Chioago, are visiting Mrs. L. H. Hamilton. Miss Wickwire returned to G-oodland today after several day s visit here the guest of Miss Grace Thompson. The forty-fourth annual reunion of Old Settlers held at Delphi Saturday was in all respects a success. The attendance was estimated at 10,000 people. Everything passed off as announced. The baloon ascension and band contest were attractive features. FRIDAY. W. B. Austin is in Lafayette today. Mrs. J. Mrs. A. W. Bender and son after a few days visit with Mrs. Wm. Powers returned to Chicago today. Miss Blanche Alter returned home last night from an extended visit at Indianapolis and Greenfield. Miss Millie Jaokson returned to Lebanon today after a few days visit with her sister Mrs. Alfred Hoover. Louie Fendig and Jake Hopkins arrived Jiome last night from a ten days trip to Niagara Falls and Orillo, Canada. Miss Harriet Haas, of Tipton who has been the guest of Miss Sadie Leopold several days has returned home. Mrs. Bell Clark, who has been here several days visting her brothers Nelson and James Randle went to her home at Camden today. William W. Canada, of Vera Cruz,/ formerly of Winchester, Ind., now United States Consulate General to Mexico, is here on a visit to his relatives, Dr. S. H. and W. E. Moore and family. Miss Bertha L. Parcells, daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Parcells was married Monday evening at Delphi, to Mr, John H. O’Neil, of Washington, Ind. Miss Parcells has been deputy county clerk for several years and Mr. O’Neil has spent considerable time as a tax ferret.
