On account of the over loaded conditon of the Chicago excursion train last Sunday no passengers were taken on north of Rensselaer and quite a number from this plaoe were dissapoiuted. The Monon has opened a telegraph office at Parr. Gstel Warren returned to his home at Chicago Heights Monday after several days visit to relatives. Miss Mary Arnold has returned home after a two weeks visit to reilatves at Beaver City, Mrs. Jennie Cox. of Chicago Heighi s visited relatives,several days ast week returning home Friday, Mrs. P. W. Nelson visited her sister Mrs. Belle Brady in Chicago several days last week. Messrs Snyder, and Deiter, with their wives and children of. Reynold visited Mr. and Mrs. Cottingham Sunday, Mrs. Dan Winslow and children are visiting her daughter, Mrs. Cbas Baker at Yeddo.
Bro. Brady preached at the Christian Church Sunday afternoon Mrs. Laura Boyles and her sister Miss France Brady left Sunday for an extended visist to relatives in Chicago. The ice cream sooial given by the ladies of the M. E. Churrh at the school house last Saturday evening was well attened and a success financially, the net proceeds being about $19.00.
