Eph Becomes Obstreperous.

Saturday afternoon Uncle Eph Fleming gazed too long on the juice of the forbidden fruit and acquired a beautiful case of how-come-you-so. He was placed in the quay an Monday morning when brought before Squire Burnham demanded a change of venue. The case was sent to Squire Churchill and will be heard Saturday. Fleming gave bonds for his appearance. Just to relieve him of any feeling of ennui he was also charged with cruelty to animals. When intoxicated iUncle Eph is very foul mouthed upon the streets and should be made to understand that others have rights as well as himself. *
