FAIR OAKS. Cal Mandorville spent Sunday at Shelby. Joe Kight spent Sunday with his motksr at Lake Village. Mr. and Mm. Nelson returned Saturday from a weeks visit to his parents at Wolcott. Rev. O’May preached at the M.E. Church Sunday afternoon. John Kight, of Chicago spent several days with his parents this week. Mrs. Fannie Morgan, Star City, Pulaski county, is making a several weeks visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fry. The ladies of the M. E. Church will give an ice cream social at the school bouse next Saturday Aug. 12 come everybody. Mrs. Hattie Schofied is able to be about after weeks sickness with stomaoh trouble. R. J. Nelson left for his home at Riverside, Cali., last Wednesday, after several days visit to his sisters Mesdames Cottipgham, Harmon and Riohy. Rev. Simmons, of New London, will preach at the Christian Church on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening of this week. Go and hear him. J. J. Fry, of Rose Lawn, was in town several days last week on account of'the illness of his sister. Mrs Schofield. Dont forget the cheap rates to Chicago next Sunday Aug. 13 Rev.
