James H. Turpie Killed.
James H. Turpie, a citizen of Lafayette, formerly of Morion, met with an acoident Wednesday night which resulted in his death. He had been to Logansport, had returned to Lafayette, going to the Lahr house where'he engaged a room and retired. It is supposed he had been sitting in a window when he went to sleep, lost his balance and fell to the sidewalk. His body was terribly mangled and he died in an hour.
