Bob Harmon, of Brookston spent Sunday with his brother, Grant Harmon. Mrs. Nora Israel of Rensselaer spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. John Casey. Joe Winslow and Jakie Spitzer spent Sunday at Shelby. Several from here attended a dance at Shelby last Saturday night. Mrs. Isaac Right and daughter Mrs. Shehan visited Mrs. Joe Right at Rensselaer Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Holly, o$ City, visited her mother Mrs. Casey ovet Sunday. Her sister Mary Arnold, accompanied them home for a few weeks visit. Several young people from here attended the band concert at Rensselaer Friday evening. Station Agent Nelson is taking a weeks rest and with his family are visiting his parents near Woloot. Frank Maloy of Rensselaer, is filling his place. Mesdames Cottingham Harmon and Richey have returned from a sevsral days visit to their brother R, S. Nelson at Brooklyn. Mr. Nelson lives at Riverside Cali, and it is his first visit to Indiana in seven years. The Holyites are holding a series of special mettings at- the school, house this week. Rev. Ward, of Indianapolis preached at the Christian ohuroh Sunday afternoon. Peter H. Zea purchased a new wind pump. Mrs. Lambert is on the siok list. Miss Jennie Cottingham has recovered from a week’s spell of sickness.
