Death of Captain Lee Linn.
News has been received of the death of Captain Lee Linn at Santiago de Cuba. Linn gained a wide reputation as editor of the Wabash Courier, which for ten years he conducted as a Democrat organ, turning it into a Republican paper in the Blaine campaign, causing a political sensation. A year later he was attacked by Bill Hickey, and to save his own life killed Hickey. Linn left Wabash in 1887, taking the management of the Dennison, Tex., morning News. He returned to Wabash four years ago, and until appointed a captain in the volunteer army, assigned to Manila, resided there. Three months ago he went to Cuba. He leaves a widow and two children
