Funeral of Thomas Thompson.
The funeral of Thomas Thompson was held Wednesday evening, at seven o’clock, at the family residence on MoCoy avenue. The late hour was chosen in order to give time for the arrival of the two absent brothers, although only one, Isaac, of Bluffton. arrived in time, he coming on the 6:30 p. m. train David J. who was at Indian River, Mich., was unable to make railroad connections, and did not arrive until the late night train\ The funeral services, though brief, were impressive and appropriate, and were conducted by Rev. C. D. Jeffries, of the Presbyterian church. The funeral was very largely attended. Interment was made in Weston cemetery.
