Got Funny With the Wrong Show.

Monticello Herald: —The medicine show at Norway ended Saturday night with a demonstration not on the bills. Several young men from this place attended and their actions were construed by the colored manager as a declaration of war. As a result Hiram Henry and Wm. Price were laid out -in quick succession by the medicine man’s fists, and Amor Douglas barely escaped a bullet from the doctors’s revolver. The latter was arrested and gave bond to appear before Justice Darrough Tuesday morning, but this little formality did not prevent him from pursuing his itinerary, and Sunday he passed through here with his show enroute for a new field.
