A Site for a Crusher.
Yeoman & Woodworth, the new stone crushing firm closed up the purchase of four acres of land on the river Tuesday afternoon, buying of Judge Thompson, who sold on very favorable terms. The land lies beyond the end of Cullen street, adjoining Granville Moody’s property, and much of it is across the river, extending west to the base ball park. Work on getting out rock will begin at once, and men who want work can get it by applying to the new firm. The Indiana Macadam Company, who have in tire lowest bids on our street improvement have agreed if they get the contracts, to use all the rock Yeoman & Woodworth can get crushed, while the work is in progress.
